MOVING HEARTS AND MINDS INC

Communication that moves hearts and minds.

“Moving Hearts and Minds helps leaders, leading researchers, and organizations translate complex ideas into communication people understand, feel, remember and act upon.”

THE PROBLEM

Powerful communication is required for ideas to create impact.

Communicating complex ideas with clarity and conviction leads to deep connection with your stakeholders. Our strategic communications process can you help you create the conditions for success.

Valuable expertise that is hard to explain

The insight is there. The framing, structure, and translation are not — so decision-makers don't feel what's at stake and the message doesn't land.

Accurate but forgettable presentations

The content is technically correct, but the audience leaves without a through-line to carry forward. You filled the space, but it moved nothing.

Too much information, no through-line

Ideas compete instead of building. The talk or your campaign loses shape and the message dilutes. No Impact.

High-pressure speaking moments

TEDx, keynotes, board presentations, media, interviews — where the stakes are high and the margin for success is narrow.

Research the wider world needs but cannot access

The work sits behind language and structure that the public cannot enter — but must.

Leadership messages that fail to create alignment

Announcements are made, campaigns launched but people don't move because meaning, evidence, and emotion were not connected.

Moving Hearts and Minds brings emotional resonance and intellectual impact together.

SERVICES

Three ways we help the message move.

Three core services. One central idea: the most effective communication requires a deliberate process and architecture.

THE SIGNATURE IDEA

Land in the Heart. Hold up in the boardroom.

♥ Land in the heart

People remember how a message felt long after they remember what it said.

⚖ Hold up in the boardroom

Decisions require structure, evidence, and language that moves.

HOW WE WORK

From complexity to clarity. A flexible process.

Every engagement is different, but the principles are consistent. This is the shape most collaborations follow.

1

UNDERSTAND

The challenge

We begin by listening. What needs to be communicated? To whom? In what context? What is currently not connecting, and why?

2

FIND

The central idea

We clarify the one idea that matters most. Everything else will serve it or be set aside.

3

SHAPE

The narrative or journey

We build the structure: the emotional arc, the intellectual through-line, the key moments, the evidence, the transitions, the close.

4

TEST

And refine

We rehearse, review, gather feedback, and improve. The goal is not perfection it is authenticity.

5

PREPARE

For the real moment

We prepare for delivery: the room, the audience, the difficult questions, the unexpected. You walk on ready, not rehearsed.
